Got My New Car! XPeng L03

After waiting for more than two months, I've finally picked up the car.

I went with the extended-range (EREV) version, the L03 1330 Ultra SE trim.

Ordered on 2026.7.24, car allocation confirmed on 9.21, arrived at the dealership on 9.27, picked up on 9.29.

It drives pretty nicely. The smart driving assist (ADAS) is decent, but there are still quite a few scenarios where you need to take over. Stop-and-go traffic is where it really shines.

The zero-gravity seat is nice, but it's only on the front passenger side — it would be even better if the driver's seat had one too.

Trunk space is just average.

Charging Protocols of the In-Car Type-C Ports

While I was at it, I tested the charging protocols supported by the car's two Type-C ports.

The Type-C port inside the center armrest box supports rather few protocols — only PD3.0 60W, PPS 63W, and QC4. (This port is wired to the infotainment system, so you can plug in a portable hard drive or a USB flash drive.)
