Last Sunday (2025.12.14), I went hiking at Yangtai Mountain in Shenzhen with a friend and took some photos along the way to share here.
Yangtai Mountain is located in northwestern Shenzhen, at the junction of Bao'an, Longhua, and Nanshan districts. It is the highest peak in western Shenzhen. The main peak, Dayangtai, stands at 587.1 meters above sea level, while Xiaoyangtai reaches 460.7 meters; the two peaks are connected. The area features rolling green hills, streams, waterfalls, and lakes, and is home to "Yangtai's Layered Emerald Peaks," one of the famed "Eight Scenic Views of Shenzhen." Historically, it served as a base for the East River Column during the revolutionary period and thus holds significant historical importance. In 2005, it became Shenzhen's first municipal-level forest park.
The photos were taken with a Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ and a DJI Action 6.
