Two weekends ago (December 6, 2025), I climbed Wutong Mountain in Shenzhen with friends and took some photos to share.

Wutong Mountain in Shenzhen is a national-level scenic and historic area and national forest park. Located in the eastern part of Shenzhen, it spans Luohu, Yantian and Longgang districts, covering a total area of 42.04 square kilometers. Its main peak, Da Wutong, stands at an altitude of 943.7 meters, known as "the First Peak of Pengcheng" and the highest point in Shenzhen. Famous for its rarity, elegance, seclusion and spaciousness, it has an 88.6% forest coverage rate, hailed as "the city's lungs" of Shenzhen and a popular destination for hiking and leisure.

We took the subway to Shenzhen Foreign Language High School Station, hiked up via Xiutong Road, reached the summit, then descended via Haohan Slope and Lingyun Road to Wutongshan South Station. Lingyun Road is extremely steep and narrow, so it's not recommended for ascending.
